Meet Mrs. Bloom

Lest she toot her own horn a little too loudly with a self introduction, Emma prudently invited me to do. I, Mary Kate, her older sister, would love to tell you all about Mrs. Bloom.

Emma currently serves our country by helping deliver the babies of servicemen and women. Her tender heart causes her to cry during deliveries, win accolades for her caring nursing skills, and entices patients to name their unborn daughters Emma. Her skillful hands and brilliant mind earn her promotions and acknowledgements from all of the right people. Because of her commitment to the Navy, and because she married a star too bright to shine unnoticed, Emma has to live in an entirely different country than her professional soccer player husband. While she pines for her one true love, my little family of four selfishly thanks Jesus that he kept her on our side of the border.

Emma loves to be surrounded and clothed in beautiful things. Her home is exquisitely curated and her closet is full of woven treasures. This material beauty that enfolds her pales in comparison to her glowing spirit. To everyone she is a joy, to my sons she is an angel, to her husband she is the world. Tart, sassy, and mischievous are also apt descriptions.

With a romantically heartbreaking love life, a baby daughter on the way, and an enthusiastic eye for life's little joys, Emma's blog will surely be a daily treat.
