Dagny, day one
Year one
Year two
We had the best day celebrating Dagny. How does so much change in one year? Mark and I are literally dying over her these days. She's hilarious. Sassy. testy. Smart. Chatty. Silly. Sweet. Gentle. Not so gentle. She's everything good in a two year old I assume. She loves to finish her sentences with "Okay?" or respond with "No!" in the sassiest way. When she's sweet, she replies to everything with "Yeeeah" in quiet little voice. She loves music. It's my favorite thing about her. She loves to sing and is very good at learning the words to songs. When a movie is one and a pretty song starts, she'll run back into the room just to watch and listen to someone sing. She tells me I'm so pretty every day and my heart melts over and over again. She brings joy to everyone that knows her, and its my biggest joy to spend my days with her. I love this little girl and can't believe another year has gone. I am really excited to watch all of the changes that unfold in the next year.
Here is a little walk through of her big day celebrating two. When you ask her how old she is, she would tell you "mamas old"
The face of a two year old.
Pippa helped up get everything ready.
Mark woke up and took Dagny on a father daughter birthday breakfast date. A tradition my dad did with each of us.
While he was gone, I set up a card board house for her. It was her happiest present ever.
I also hung this ice cream cone wrapping paper sheet over her bed. She could not believe it.
While she napped I baked her cake and she woke up to this sweet scene. How cute are those balloon cake toppers?
We found Pippa with balloons in her bassinet all day long.
She got a tin lunch box, ice cream cone tattoo, and mickey mouse ears.
Mama got a tattoo too.
As requested we went for ice cream cones. Dagny ate mint chocolate chip.
We spent the evening in the park. We ate chicken on a stick, slaw, gyros, and french fries.
One of Dagny's balloons popped when she accidentally sat on it.
My three.
My girl.
