Not many...

There aren't very many things that have made my week this week. It was the second week of Mark being gone and just as sad as the first. I've been working a lot, getting used to making dinner for Dagny and myself again, and doing Dagny by myself again. I feel like I was spoiled for two months with the greatest husband and daddy of all time. My house is messy and cluttered, my pantry and fridge are uninspiring and my sheets are overdue for a cleaning. I'll get back into the swing of things eventually. Until then...Not pictured is netflix, but it sure is helping with the adjustment and my procrastination.

This colander I snagged at the Eberhart's Annual Golden Elephant Party. I came home to it hanging on a nail on my windowsill that Mark had perfectly placed. I use it every day for washing dagny's "asberries" and "booberries."

I CHOPPED my hair off. Clearly I was having an emotional breakdown and nobody cared to stop me from making such a terrible decision. Just kidding. I don't mind it. Its so clean and healthy feeling. My military bun was really doing a number on my ends. The lady just went a little crazy and cut about three inches more than I wanted.

This isn't from this week, but Dagny continues to be my saving grace. I love her so much and don't know what I'd do without her.

A 6:30 am trip to the grocery store in our jammies and jackets because we ran out of milk.

Dagny wanting to put on a robe in the morning like I do. She cried "brrrrrrr, coooold" until i found this one. I should probably find a cute robe for her.

The hand-me down jammies Dagny is finally fitting into.

The two of us will be okay. She has just now stopped saying daddy when I get her out of bed in the morning and we go into my room. The first week she was constantly looking for him. It was heart breaking. But every time my phone goes off she still yells "Daaaddy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy" like it is the end of the world.

A little bit of Dagny Joy for you

Dagny is so old. She repeats every word you say, including "Mahhrk." She has 100 teeth. Lots of hair, (for Dags). And a couple signature dance moves. She loves reading! Her favorite books have animals. I'll try and hide a book after a day of reading it 50 times but she'll still find it. Anything with dogs, owls, or words with "L's" are her favorites. She loves to dance to Winnie the Pooh's "Up down touch the ground" song. She is sassy, dramatic, and dramatic. She said "no" to me the other day for the first time when I asked for the towel she was carrying while walking by me. So casually. She says "yeah" to any question. and "No No daddy" for no reason. I have no idea where she learned it. She is a ham. She laughs just to laugh. She fake burps and thinks its hilarious. We encouraged it full heartedly. She loves to play chase and to wrestle. She is very busy all the time. And its just a really fun age right now. We love her.

I forgot to add, Dagny is fascinated with her shadow. She could sit and wave and laugh at it all night long.
