One Week of Pippa

All ready to go home from the hospital!
Smaller than a rabbit
Rocco was very disappointed her name wasn't strawberry.
I thought I was superwoman when I gave Dagny a bath on our first night home together and alone.

Mark made it home the next morning and it couldn't of been a happier day

Dagny giving every animal to Pippa
Dagny wrapping Pippa up completely in blankets.

Cozy mornings that looked like this.
I was overwhelmed by all of the wonderful goodies my family left. Flowers, sparkles, yummy bread and cheese, and quiche from Mary Kate. Flowers and sparkles from Mark.

The sweetest littlest head.

When you don't have time to dress your toddler, she dresses herself.

Dagny's spot for the week while watching me change Pippa.

I'd find Pippa like this regularly.

We survived our first week before Pa came back to sip sparkles, hold my babies while I packed, and welcome my mom and Mary Kate home from Paris.
We spent the last couple days in Florida at the beach house until Mark came back to get us.
I finally got to sip cosmos.
Everyone got their Pippa and Dagny time before I took them away forever.

Pippa Darling Bloom

Pippa Darling is here and our hearts have all grown. She is a dream baby.

Sleeping sofly, then it seems Heaven enters in my dreams; Angels hover round me, Whisp'ring they have found me; Two are sweetly singing, Two are garlands bringing, Strewing me with roses As my soul reposes. God will not forsake me When dawn at last will wake me.

Just hanging with Sterl. Clearly I was tolerating labor fine in between contractions. It was during them that I wanted to die.

My sweet Pippa. Made me push for almost an hour because she was "sunny side up" or facing up instead of down. I was a complete emotional mess when she was finally born. Mark and I facetimed right after and neither of us could even talk we were so overwhelmed with tearful joy.
I couldn't get over how beautiful she was to me the moment I put her on my chest. Dagny was very unfamiliar and felt a little like a stranger when she was put on me. I think all of the joy that Dagny brought us the last two years just hit me at once and I was in such awe that I was going to get to experience it all again with Pippa.
Clementine held my hand the entire time and rubbed my tense brow in-between every set of pushes. She was such a saving grace that weekend and one we never even planned for. I will always treasure this. Our back-up plan included my dad or Mike if Mark wasn't able to make it. (Insert monkey covering eyes emoji here).
Dagny meets Pippa

My girls

Mark's game had a rain delay, so we stayed up till 11pm that night to watch him play. Only to have them move the game to the following night and push Mark's arrival back another day!

My girl. We had a very quiet and quick stay together in the hospital.

Truly my favorite baby.

The first night home from the hospital I had the girls by myself. We all snuggled all night long and really didn't get much sleep. Waking up though in the morning to these two was heaven.

Mark finally made it home to meet his Pippa. Dagny gave her a bracelet.

Mark and daughters. I can't wait to watch this love story.
