I Sing...

Because I'm happy;
I sing because I'm free;
His eye is on the sparrow
and I know He watches me.

My heart is extra full of joy these days. I can't help but sing.

Trick or Treat

For the second year in a row we went to Seaside for trick or treating. Seaside is already the sweetest, friendliest and happiest place to spend your evenings with children on 30A. Not only in late October when the air is perfect, but on halloween when all of the kiddos are dressed in costumes running around. The shop keepers open their doors, decorate and dress up to hand out candy. We like to go early so we can beat the crowds, but this year we might have enjoyed sipping sparkles on the green a little too long. Before we knew it Seaside was packed! There were three times as many people this year than last. We managed to make the loop after Rocco got his face painted. He selflessly let 5 children skip him in line to avoid getting his face painted by the lady that had scary face paint on herself. When we did start walking store to store Dagny was a show stopper. Strangers were literally stopping to take her picture. She was so darn cute, and she knew it too. She, but really me, soaked up every second of it. We held hands and Dags kept walking to strut her little rabbit tail.

Dagny and Remi went as two little animals for the second year in a row. Last year a lion and a bear, this year a tiger and a rabbit. Rocco was batman, Hank was Michael Bradley but wearing a Bloom jersey. Halloween is so much more fun when you have a little one to dress up. Enjoy the overload of pictures.
